Berkeley ACLS Course Description
The American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification training covers:
• 10 ACLS Hospital based scenarios
• Dynamic Lessons
• Written test
• Skills testing with an AHA instructor
This is an official ACLS course for renewal, recertification or initial certification. Beware of the many scams on the internet for “Online ACLS Certification”, where you simply pay $100 and then print out a bogus card. After this eLearning course, and the skills testing, students will receive the official American Heart Association ACLS card.
The total price for this course is $260 ($110 to the American Heart Association and $150 for the skills testing). Classes also offered in Concord, San Francisco, Redwood City and San Jose.
How to complete the AHA ACLS eLearning Class
1. Go to this website: www.onlineaha.org
2. Register for ACLS Part 1 (Course Code: 90-1405).
3. Pay the AHA $110 for this course. Course takes 6-10 hours.
4. Print out your online course completion.
5. Bring to skills testing $150 (cash or check)
6. Skills testing takes 1 hour.
We also recommend taking the Rhythm Adult course but it is not mandatory. You must be proficient in ACLS skills to pass this ACLS course. Be sure to study rhythms and medication.

American Heart Association Training Center
Safety Training Seminars is an official American Heart Association Training Center (AHA – CA20784). This means we can issue the ACLS certification cards on the day of the class, as opposed to other Bay Area ACLS schools who mail out the card, which can take up to 30 days for you to receive.
