BLS Course Description
This official American Heart Association BLS CPR course is for renewing students, initial students, and recertification so anyone can attend this course. Students will learn the skills to save a victim who is choking, rescue breathing techniques, how to use: pocket masks, Ambu bag masks, AEDs, and CPR steps for adults, infants, and children.
Payment
The payment can be done when you arrive to take your class. Other CPR companies in the East Bay demand payment by credit card and then offer no refunds if you must cancel. Not us. You only pay for the class if you arrive.

Parking Options
If you are driving to the course, you can find lots of parking garages that are less than 2 blocks from the classroom. The BART station is less than 2 blocks from our office. You can get out on Downtown Berkeley BART and walk to University Avenue. We offer lots of BLS renewal classes on Sundays and parking is free on Sundays.

Participants will get their BLS certification card with the American Heart Association right after class. Other schools in the East Bay do not issue the cards on the day of the class – they mail them out to students, which can take about a month for the student to receive. However, Berkeley CPR Classes is an American Heart Association BLS School, which means the cards are handed out on same day.
