Hospitals in Alameda County and Berkeley
If you work in one of the Alameda Hospitals and you are required to be certified in BLS, CPR or ACLS, you must take a class with the American Heart Association. The Berkeley American Heart Association provides official AHA certification classes in BLS (Basic Life Support) for the Healthcare Provider (HCP), ACLS, and training in firstaid.
These CPR classes are held on University Avenue in Berkeley and the BART station is only 1 block away. You do not pay for the training until you arrive on the day of the class. If you cannot attend or if you miss your class, you do not pay. You only pay if you arrive. Also at the end of your CPR class, you will receive the official AHA certification card.
Warning: There are a few training schools in Alameda County who teach uncertified classes. I don’t think you would be too happy if you spent all day taking a CPR training class and then find out it is not accepted at your hospital. Also, the online CPR training classes are also not accepted in the Berkeley and Alameda County hospitals.
Safety Training Seminars is recognized by the AHA as a BLS Training Center and we are a member of the Berkeley Chamber and the Better Business Bureau. Over 95% of our reviews on Yelp.com are 4-5 stars.
